My husband and I are in the "dreamers" stage. Question about employment while on the road. I am a certified nursing assistant. Does anyone know if you can fill "contracts" or "per diem" jobs, for staffing agencies, while going state to state? I know RNs can do "travel contracts", but I have not seen any of these available for CNAs. Any info appreciated.

Crazy it is that families who have known each other for only months, weeks or days can feel so connected. We have converged from all parts of the country - WA, AL, FL, CA, AL, OR and MT. We have all lived our "pre-RV" lives in different w...ays. We've been mortgage brokers, construction workers, golf pros, software engineers, tax accountants, pilots, head hunters and entrepreneurs.....and some of us are still this. But we're different now. Changed forever by our lives on the road. One might think at first blush that the "change" has come from being on the road, experiencing new scenery every day. But it's even more than this. Much of the "change" has come, at least from my perspective, from finding the kindred spirits of other full time families we have met along the way. There is something special about every full time family I have met. For starters, their kids are some of the neatest people I have ever had the chance to know. They are spirited and fun-loving, but respectful and can converse fabulously about campgrounds, national parks and the best water parks in the lower 48. The common thread I have found in the full time families we have met in our short time on the road is this: 1. they are brave 2. They are hard working, but fun loving 3. They are kind and generous 4. many have had epiphanies of some sort - little nigglings - deaths, illness, etc. that they listen to that tells them "life is short - RV first." 5. They are VERY committed to family 6. They aren't cliicky (sp) (despite what Sean says :) ) I hope many other families will follow in our footsteps......and if you do.....remember there's always a spot at our campfire:)

So how do you network with each other once you download it? Can you make it that only a selected group or people can see where you are located?
