About Fulltime Families
Founded in November 2007, Fulltime Families is a nationwide company that helps families who are living full time in their RVs by providing exclusive discounts on goods, offering RV education courses and organizing events which allow members the opportunity to socialize with like minded families. We also support families who are attracted to this lifestyle choice by providing them the tools to transition from a sticks in bricks home to an on the road adventure.
Our company provides real information about the specifics of living on the road, while raising a family. Our themed monthly magazine addresses the issues these families face such as finding employment, homeschooling their children, maintaining their rv, celebrating milestones and holidays on the road and saving money on necessities so families can spend more on touring and sight seeing.
Fulltime Families is open to all families who enjoy camping and rv’ing.
Currently 3% of all full time rv’ers are families traveling with children. Under the current economic conditions, that percentage is rising as families seek employment opportunities across the country and the definitions of success shift from career focused to family focused.
We are a privately held company, run out of our rv and headquartered wherever we are currently parked.

An excerpt from “How to Hit the Road; Making your Family’s Full Time RV Dreams a Reality”
Chapter 5 – What To Do With All Your Stuff!!!
Look around your home. Now picture it empty, the walls are bare, the furnishings are all gone, the windows are stripped of their treatments. Can you see it? I can feel your despair as you read this. I can feel your hesitation and your doubt, right through the tips of your fingers holding this book. Here are some affirmations that you should speak out loud, with all the conviction you can muster, right now!
I WILL GET THIS HOME EMPTIED
I WILL BE ABLE TO FIGURE OUT WHAT I NEED TO KEEP AND WHAT I NEED TO RE-HOME
I WILL NOT COMPLICATE MATTERS BY DEMANDING PERFECTION FROM MYSELF DURING THIS PROCESS
I WILL PULL OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY AND EXPLORE THIS WORLD WITH MY FAMILY. THIS STUFF WILL NOT GET IN MY WAY!
This chapter is dedicated to making these statements easy and painless.
Decluttering via Donation
Before you start this process, make a “Moving Kit.” Your kit should include the tools you need to get the job done and keep you from getting sidetracked by searching for them. These items are:
A large black marker
Packing Tape
A pen
A timer
A notepad
Post it Notes
Five garbage bags
Five shopping bags
For added mobility, you could get a handyman’s utility belt so when you don the belt and buckle down the kit is always with you.
